US Veterans Day Ceremony at Southlake Town Hall

The City of Southlake is asking the community to unite for a Veterans Day Ceremony at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, on the steps of Southlake Town Hall. The annual concert is a poignant show of respect and thankfulness for the courageous service men and women who have defended our freedom as members of the United States Armed Forces.

Veterans Day means more than just numbers on a calendar – it is a day we pause, reflect, and thank those who have sacrificed so much for our country. “For our community to come together in thanks and honor those who have worn the uniform.

Guest Speaker: Vice Commander of Texas Legion Post 14

This year’s event will feature a guest speaker, the Vice Commander of Texas Legion Post 14, who will offer remarks in honor of veterans and discuss The American Legion and its ongoing mission to serve veterans and local communities.

“Post 14 could not be prouder to have one of our own leaders represent our organization at this important civic event that further underscores the mutual dedication between the City of Southlake and local veterans’ organizations in saluting military service and fostering unity.”

A Community United in Gratitude

The event will include motivational speeches, patriotic songs, and time set aside to remember, as Southlake residents, veterans, and families come together with friends to collectively honor our heroes.

The PFC Ruth E. Warlick American Legion Post 14 invites everyone in the community to attend and participate in this important ceremony. Your attendance and support communicate to our veterans that their courage, commitment, and sacrifices will always be remembered.

Together, We Remember and Honor

As we stand on the steps of Southlake Town Hall, let us think about what brings us together — service, sacrifice, and freedom. “Let us take the task at hand and create a better world for those who stood ready to serve our country and pave the way for generations of Americans to come.

Join us as we express our gratitude and celebrate the service of our military veterans who have selflessly served America.
