Fellow Patriots,
Welcome to our new website! Thanks to our dedicated webmaster, Mr. Benny Tran, for building and maintaining it out of pure patriotism and service to our veterans, community, and country. The site went live on October 18 — check it out and spread the word.
Our Oktoberfest at Southlake was a huge success! We connected with the community, boosted sales of the Gun and Car Raffle, and welcomed several new members. A big thanks to everyone who helped staff the booth and represent Post 14 with pride.
Vote! Early voting runs through Friday, October 31 — Election Day is Tuesday, November 4. This ballot includes 17 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution, including measures that affect property taxes and provide benefits for widows of service members. Let’s make our voices count — We the People decide what happens next.

Early voting hours
The hours for the early voting period are:
- Thursday, October 30: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, October 31: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Your dues and volunteer time matter. Membership funds help sustain national advocacy, veteran assistance, and community programs like Texas Boys State, BSA, and Southlake Miracle League. We need more hands — don’t leave the work to the same few. A couple of hours a month makes a real difference.
Upcoming Events:
Join the Carroll High School “Carry Forward, Feed it Forward” 5K on Saturday, November 8 (8–11 AM) at Dragon Stadium, Southlake. Proceeds support the Wounded Warrior Project and local food banks. Wear your American Legion gear — limited Post 14 caps are available for $20.
Help Needed:
Support our Gun/Car Raffle fundraising at Texas Gun Experience (Grapevine) and Texas Roadhouse (Irving) on select Saturdays, 10 AM–2 PM. Check the calendar and sign up for a shift — your help keeps our mission strong.
